- Celebrity Deathmatch: The Missing Beatles Tape (2002; animated) [Bill Maher]: Kicked in the mouth by "Conan O'Brien" (voiced by Joe Ohrin), causing Joe's foot to break through the back of Matthew's head. His body is then used as a rag doll. (Played for comic effect.)
- Heroes: Landslide (2007) [Ted Sprague]: Head sliced open by Zachary Quinto's telekinetic powers, while Matthew is hanging upside-down inside an overturned armored vehicle.
- Justified: Outlaw (2013) [Hitman]: Shot to death by Timothy Olyphant.
- Scandal: The Miseducation of Susan Ross (2016) [Ronnie Miller]: Hangs himself in his jail cell.
