Film Deaths[]
- The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006) [Eric Hill]: Slashed/impaled through the stomach with a chainsaw by Leatherface (Andrew Bryniarski) while he is strapped to a table (with Jordana Brewster hiding underneath the table); Andrew then cuts off the skin from his face to make a mask.
- In Time (2011) [Henry Hamilton]: Dies when his time runs out, as Justin Timberlake looks on in horror; his body then falls from a bridge. His body is shown again later on as Cillian Murphy's men investigate the scene.
- The Magnificent Seven (2016) Blu-Ray/DVD during Chapter 2 (1879), Matthew Cullen was shot to death by Bartholomew Bogue as his wife Emma Cullen and the other villagers watch on in horror.
Television Deaths[]
- The Guiding Light (2003) [Ben Reade]: Committed suicide by lethal injection after threatening to kill two others the same way.
- Tru Calling: Two Weddings and a Funeral (2004) [Luc]: Shot in the stomach by David Lipper; he dies in Eliza Dushku's arms shortly afterwards. His body is shown again at his funeral.
- Chuck: Chuck Versus the Intersect (2007) [Bryce Larkin]: Shot in the chest by John Casey (Adam Baldwin); subsequent episodes revealed that he was resuscitated by Fulcrum agents. It's therefore debatable whether this indeed counts as a death, though the character claimed he died.
- Chuck: Chuck Versus the Ring (2009) [Bryce Larkin]: Gut shot during a shoot-out with Ring agents. He dies within minutes, after talking to Chuck (Zachary Levi).
- American Horror Story: Freakshow: Pink Cupcakes (2014) [Andy]: Stabbed to death and dismembered by Finn Wittrock who lured him into John Carroll Lynch's abandoned trailer under the ruse of an interested john.
- The Normal Heart (2014 TV) [Felix Turner]: Dies off-screen due to complications of AIDS.
- American Horror Story: Hotel: Battle Royale (2016) [Donovan]: Accidentally shot to death by his mother (Kathy Bates) and Denis O'Hare, when he uses himself as a human shield to protect Lady Gaga, who was Kathy and Denis's target; he dies soon after while talking to Kathy. His body is later cremated by Denis (off-screen), and his ashes are then vacuumed by Mare Winningham under Kathy's instructions.
- Doom Patrol: Penultimate Patrol (2019) [Larry Trainor]: Killed (along with Diane Guerrero, April Bowlby, Joivan Wade, and Brendan Fraser/Riley Shanahan) in a looping fantasy created by Alan Tudyk to torment Timothy Dalton in the following ways: (1) Vaporized by a robot's laser. (2) Crushed to death under the robot's foot. (3) Killed in an explosion caused by the robot's rockets. The deaths continue to repeat until Timothy realizes they are being manipulated by Alan. (Matt provides the voice of "Larry Trainor" while Matthew Zuk physically portrays the character. Due to the dual nature of the role, the death is listed on both pages.)
- The Sinner: Part VIII (2020) [Jamie]: Shot to death by Bill Pullman.
- American Horror Stories: Rubber(Wo)man: Part Two (2021) [Michael Winslow]: Stabbed to death (along with Gavin Creel) by Kaia Gerber. Their bodies are later discovered when their daughter (Sierra McCormick) finds them.
- Doom Patrol: Dead Patrol (2021) [Larry Trainor]: Hit on the back of the head with a shovel by Madalyn Horcher in order allow him to enter the afterlife; he comes back to life after leaving. (Matt provides the voice of "Larry Trainor" while Matthew Zuk physically portrays the character. Due to the dual nature of the role, the death is listed on both pages.)
- Doom Patrol: Undead Patrol (2021) [Larry Trainor]: Turns into a zombie as a result of being vomited on by Ruth Connell in the previous episode Dead Patrol.
