- The Meg (2018) [Toshi]: Blown up in an explosion after the Megalodon bites his submarine, when Masi sacrifices himself to allow his colleagues (Jessica McNamee and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson) to escape with Jason Statham.
Television Deaths[]
- Heroes: Five Years Gone (2007) [Hiro Nakamura/ Future Hiro]: Playing the same character form two points in time, "future Hiro" is shot in the back by Greg Grunberg as Masi is about to take his past self and James Kyson Lee back to their own time; he dies in James' arms shortly afterwards. (This occurs in a future timeline which is later prevented from coming about.)
