• Battle Royale (Batoru rowaiaru) (2000) [Kazuo Kiriyama, Boy #6]: Shot in the neck by Taro Yamamoto, detonating Masanobu's explosive collar, causing his head to explode (having been blinded in a previous explosion).

• Space Travelers (Supêsutoraberâzu) (2000) [Makoto Fujimoto]: The film ends before he dies, but he is about to be shot to death by the SWAT team.
