Independence Day (1996) [First Lady Marilyn Whitmore]: Dies off-screen of internal bleeding due to injuries from a helicopter crash; She is last seen in bed talking to Bill Pullman. Her death is confirmed in subsequent dialogue.
Donnie Darko (2001) [Rose Darko]: Killed in a plane crash, along with Daveigh Chase and everyone else on board, when the plane hits turbulence from the time tunnel; Jake Gyllenhaal later alters the timeline and prevents her death.
Scream 4 (Scre4m) (2011) [Kate Roberts]: Stabbed in the back through the mail slot by Ghostface (Emma Roberts) while she is sitting against the door, as Neve Campbell looks on helplessly.

Touched by an Angel: Minute By Minute (2002) [Sister Theodore]: Saves the students of a high school when she pulls the fire alarm before bombs that Jonah Rooney planted detonate. Having already been wounded by Jonah previously in the episode, she is unable to leave the school in time to save herself.
Battlestar Galactica: Daybreak Part 2 (2009) [President Laura Roslin]: Dies of cancer with Edward James Olmos by her side.
Major Crimes: Conspiracy Theory Part 4 (2017) [Commmader Sharon Raydor]: Dies in the hospital of a heart attack after collapsing from losing her temper while interrogating Jayne Brook in the interrogation room.
The Fall of the House of Usher: The Raven (2023) [Madeline Usher]: Dies after being mummified by Bruce Greenwood, later being brought back to life by Carla Gugino, but dying permanently when the house collapses on them.
