Film Deaths[]
- To End All Wars (2001) [Dusty Miller]: Crucified by Japanese soldiers.
- Revolver (2005) [Sorter]: Shot in the head. (This scene was cut from the US release.)
- Tristan + Isolde (2006) [Lord Wictred]: Stabbed to death by James Franco, who then decapitates his body (His severed head is later seen as Franco holds it aloft on a drawbridge in front of the Irish armies).
- Stardust (2007) [Prince Septimus]: Drowned in the dry air when Michelle Pfeiffer drops a voodoo doll into a fountain; he then appears as a ghost alongside the ghosts of all his brothers. Michelle later uses the doll to re-animate Mark's body and manipulate it into fighting Charlie Cox.
- Sunshine (2007) [Captain Pinbacker]: Incinerated, along with Rose Byrne and Cillian Murphy, when the ship crashes into the sun.
- Babylon A.D. (2008) [Finn]: Shot repeatedly in the chest and stomach/throat by Vin Diesel after Mark tries to shoot Michelle Yeoh.
- Good (2008) [Philipp Bouhler]: Commits suicide by taking cyanide.
- Sherlock Holmes (2009) [Lord Henry Blackwood]: Hanged by being tangled in chains at the end of a struggle with Robert Downey Jr..
- Kick-Ass (2010) [Frank D'Amico]: Killed in an explosion when Aaron Johnson shoots him with a bazooka, blowing him out of a window just as Mark is about to shoot Chloë Grace Moretz at the end of a martial arts struggle.
- Robin Hood (2010) [Sir Godfrey]: Impaled through the throat with an arrow by Russell Crowe, as Mark is attempting to ride his horse away from the battle to escape. Having been mortally wounded, Mark laughs at his own death as he continues riding away. Mark is not seen falling off his horse or dying, but his fate is certain.
- The Way Back (2010) [Andrei Khabarov]: Killed off-screen by Colin Farrell for his jacket.
- Black Gold (2011) [Sultan Amar]: Shot in the back by a Beni Siri sniper, he dies in his son's/Tahar Rahim's arms.
- The Eagle (2011) [Guern]: Stabbed in the stomach during a battle; his body is shown afterwards on an altar when Jamie Bell and Channing Tatum ignite his funeral pyre.
- The Guard (2011) [Clive Cornell]: Shot repeatedly in the chest/stomach and throat in a shootout with Brendan Gleeson on the docks.
- Justin and the Knights of Valour (2013; animated) [Heraclio]: Falls to his death down a waterfall chasm at the end of a sword fight on a water mill above said waterfall with Justin (Freddie Highmore).
- The Imitation Game (2014) [Stewart Menzies]: Dies off-screen.
- The Brothers Grimsby (2016) [Sebastian 'Coddy' Graves]: Temporarily dies from insect venom via a poison dart to the testicles but is revived by Sacha Baron Cohen using the "suck and spit" method.
- Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017) [Merlin aka Hamish Mycroft]: Killed in an explosion, after using a gadget to temporarily free Taron Egerton from a landmine and taking his place, sacrificing himself to help him and Colin Firth escape.
- The Critic (2023) [David Brooke] Shoots himself in the head off-screen. We simply hear the shot followed by his funeral.
- Murder Mystery 2 (2023) [Miller]: Dies in a helicopter explosion.
- The End We Start From (2023) [N]: Commits suicide by shooting himself (off-screen) after telling Jodie Comer he's going for a walk. We only hear the gunshot and see Jodie and Joel Fry's reactions.
- The Silent Hour (2024) [Detective Doug Slater]: Is revealed to be a crooked cop and pursues his Partner Joel Kinnaman and Sandra Mae Frank with the help of Mekhi Phifer. Mekhi ends up shooting Mark all over his body by accident, due to Joel and Sandra blinding him with gasoline.
Television Deaths[]
- Sharpe's Mission (1996) [Colonel Brand]: Pushed down a well in an impromptu execution by Sean Bean, who strikes him with the butt of his musket, while Mark is offering to make a deal with the enemy, warning that he would make Sean beg for it. Mark had already been found guilty of multiple murders and he would have been made to face a firing squad if he had been returned to England.

- In the Name of Love (1999 TV Film) [Chris Monroe]: Details needed.
- The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance: The First Thing I Remember is Fire (2019) [Ordon]: Providing the voice of a male Gelfling character, he throws himself and Ralph Ineson into a pit of creatures called Gobbles, in a last ditch effort to protect Taron Egerton, he spends his last moments talking to him as they are both devoured.
- The Penguin: After Hours (2024) [Carmine Falcone]: Shot once in the chest (off-screen) with a sniper rifle by Paul Dano. His death was mention during news report and his body was seen and covered with a blanket in crime scene. (Note: Falcone's death was already played out in The Batman with John Turturro in the role instead of Mark).
- Dune: Prophecy: The High-Handed Enemy (2024) [Emperor Javicco Corrino]: Commits suicide by stabbing himself with a dagger to prevent anyone else from killing him, he dies in Tabu's arms as Jodhi May watches.
