Marion Ross (1928 - )
Film Deaths:[]
- The Evening Star (1996) [Rosie Dunlop]: I don't know the details of her death, but I have read that she dies in this movie.
- Superhero Movie (2008) [Aunt Lucille Adams]: Life-force drained (off-screen) by Christopher McDonald in her home; the scene cuts away as he touches her face. Her body is shown afterwards during her funeral, when the undertaker turns her head to show Leslie Nielsen that he's grieving over the wrong casket. Leslie then accidentally knocks the casket over, causing her to fall across a tombstone's eternal flame, setting her on fire. (An obvious dummy body was used for the funeral scene.) (Played for comedic effect.)
Television Deaths[]
- Thriller: The Prisoner in the Mirror (1961) [Kay Forrest]: Strangled (off-screen) by Lloyd Bochner (while he's possessed by Henry Daniell's spirit); her body is shown afterwards lying on the couch when her brother Jack Mullaney discovers her.
- Rawhide: The Woman Trap (1962) [Flora]: After being left to die in the wilderness by one of Robert Gist's henchmen Marion stumbles and rolls down the side of a hill where she strikes her head on rocks. She is found by Clint Eastwood and Sheb Wooley and taken back to their camp where she dies from the injury.
- Mannix: A Problem of Innocence (1973) [Muriel Enright]: Shot to death (off-screen) by Fritz Weaver. We learn of her death when Ward Wood informs Mike Connors.
- That 70s Show: Grandma's Dead (1999) [Bernice Forman]: Dies of old age/natural causes while riding in Topher Grace's car, after he tells her "It wouldn't kill you to be nice for one day." (Played for comedic effect.) (Thanks to Eric)
- Gilmore Girls: The Reigning Lorelai (2004) [Lorelai "Trix" Gilmore]: Dies of old age/natural causes. Plays a dual role as Cousin Marilyn, however, who survives the series. (Thanks to Eric)
