- Delirious (1991) [Janet Doubois/Louise] Playing a fictional character in the world of a soap opera and her real-life actress, Janet is accidentally shot by Dylan Baker is and rushed to the hospital when another writer for the show writes that she dies this way. John Candy, the writer of this soap opera, tries to save her life by writing that she survives on his typewriter to over-write the death scene, but is shot point-blank by Robert Wagner before he can do so. Since Candy wasn't able to finish altering the story, Janet most likely died from the gunshot wound, although John is given complete control over Janet, to whom Louise is given the part so she may have survived.
