Summary[]
It is based on a true story about Maricris Sioson, a 17-year-old girl. Maricris has aspired to provide a better life for her family since April 1991. She moves to Japan to work as a nightclub performer. She gets admitted to a Fukushima hospital after 4 months of work. Maricris' family is told the truth about her hepatitis, but when they open the casket, they discovered that she was murdered by yakuza men who were beaten and stabbed to death. Cynthia Gallardo, a human rights activist, is determined to learn the truth about Maricris' death.
