- The Terminator (1984) [Dancer]: Shot in the back by Arnold Schwarzenegger when he opens fire toward Linda Hamilton.
- The Crazies (2010) [Mrs. McGregor]: Shot in the back by soldiers when she hysterically runs towards her dead son (Justin Miles). Shown from a distance.
- The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013) [Female Tribute District 9]: Killed (off-screen) in battle with the other tributes. Her death is confirmed when her picture is projected in the sky during the report of the game's casualties.
- Halloween (2018) [Gina Panchella]: Bludgeoned to death (off-screen) with a hammer by Michael Myers (James Jude Courtney). The audience only hears it as it happens — we see her body slumped over the kitchen table in the aftermath.
