- The Robin Hood of El Dorado (1936) [Rosita de Murrieta]: Fatally injured or wounded (off-screen; its unclear exactly what happened) by a group of drunken settlers. She dies in Warner Baxter’s arms shortly after he regains consciousness and discovers her.
- Lost Horizon (1937) [Maria]: Rapidly ages to death after she leaves Shangri-Li and loses her immortality, while George Howard looks on in horror. (see also Olivia Hussey in the 1973 version).
- The Leopard Man (1943) [Clo-Clo]: Slashed to death (off-screen) by James Bell (simulating a leopard attack) in the street; the scene cuts away just before the attack.
