Film Deaths[]

The Legacy (1978) [Nurse Adams]: Pushed down a staircase at the end of a struggle with Sam Elliott. Her body changes into its cat form after her death; her cat form is shown afterwards when Katharine Ross uses her supernatural powers to bring it back to life. Margaret later reappears in her human form.
Match Point (2005) [Mrs. Eastby]: Shot to death (off-camera) with a shotgun by Jonathan Rhys-Meyers in her apartment, staging a robbery to cover his murder of Scarlett Johansson. We only see Jonathan firing; only a bit of her hand is shown.
Scoop (2006) [Sid's co-passenger]: Dies (off-screen) presumably of old age/natural causes, shortly before her first appearance; she appears as a spirit riding in a boat on the river Styx with Woody Allen, Julia Deakin and Jeffrey Wickham.

I, Claudius (1976) [Antonia]: Commits suicide (off-screen) by slitting her wrists; her death is confirmed when her servant informs her son (Derek Jacobi), after Margaret had previously told Derek of her intentions.
The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones: Treasure of Peacock's Eye (1995) [Ms. Helen Seymour]: Dies (off-screen) of an unspecified illness; we learn of her death afterwards when Anna Niland informs Sean Patrick Flannery. (Margaret does not actually appear in this episode, except for her voice-over in a letter that Sean reads.)
Midsomer Murders: Small Mercies (2009) [Harriet Compton]: Hit on the head with a hammer by Olivia Colman.
