(1964) [Mrs. Foster]: Presumably dies of old age/natural causes (off-screen); her death isn't explicitly mentioned in the dialogue, but considering the timespan covered by the movie, it seem reasonable to assume that she died at some point over the years. (It could be argued that Margaret appears to be having a heart attack after learning of Shirley MacLaine's marriage to Dick Van Dyke. Shirley's narration describes her reaction as "ill-disguised displeasure" even taking the comic understatement into account, Margaret's histrionics could be interpreted as either a heart attack or fainting spell.)
