Summary[]
Cita (Sharon Cuneta) has always had a close relationship with her sister (Judy Ann Santos). But unfortunately, Cita's only child drowns in the sea while trying to save Lisa's son during a picnic, putting their filial relationship to the test. Cita holds Lisa responsible for her son's death, and their relationship immediately becomes strained. Lisa's life takes a turn for the worse when they lose their home, her husband loses his job, and she becomes expectation with her youngest child once more. Furthermore, her son has severe asthma and requires medical attention. Lisa pleads Cita to help her child. Cita reluctantly accepts on the condition that Lisa relinquishes her child to her. Cita finally finds herself with Lisa's child. Despite this, something about the child reminds her of her sister. Cita is divided between clinging to her traumatic past and rebuilding a connection that once meant everything to her while the youngster longs to see his mother. Cita has made the decision to reconcile with Lisa.
