Film Deaths Edit

  • Hollywood on Parade No. 8 (1933) [Betty Boop]: Bitten on the throat by Bela Lugosi, after both of their statues come to life in a wax museum. (Played for comic effect). (This short film has been featured in a number of video compilations including: Hollywood Outtakes and Rare Footage, Mondo Lugosi, and Dracula: A Cinematic Scrapbook). (Note: I had previously attributed this part to Helen Kane, the singer on whom Betty Boop is based, but IMDB now states that it was actually Mae Questel in a rare live-action screen appearance).
