Synopsis[]
The U.S. government recruits Machete (Danny Trejo) to battle his way through Mexico in order to take down an arms dealer (Mel Gibson) who looks to launch a weapon into space.

- During the fight scene between Machete (Danny Trejo) and Voz (Mel Gibson), the "William Wallace" sword from the 1995 film Braveheart, which Gibson starred in.

- Michelle Williams was offered the role of Miss San Antonio, but declined. The role went to Amber Heard.
