Soul Eater: Anti-magic Wavelength – Fierce Attack, the Anger-filled Demon Hunter? (2009; anime) [Crona]: Impaled with an Vector Arrow by his mother Medusa (voiced by Hōko Kuwashima) when she tries to kill Maka Albarn (voiced by Chiaki Omigawa), but Crona pushes her out of the way. Crona dies talking to a sobbing Maka that he is happy for the first time in his life. However he is brought back to life by Professor Franken Stein (voiced by Yūya Uchida). (As they had been defeated and killed by the Manikins, who are an unauthorised foreign presence to the battlefield, they are permanently erased from the battlefield and constitutes a death in the eyes of the gods.)
