- The Deep (1977) [Henri Cloche]: Skull crushed after being bitten on the head by a moray eel after a struggle with Robert Shaw.
- Enemy Mine (1985) [Jeriba Shigan]: Dies in childbirth (it's revealed that his race is asexual) with Dennis Quaid at his side (Louis was wearing heavy alien make-up for this role).
- Monolith (1993) [Capt. MacCandless] Shot by helicopter machine guns into a fountain, where he eventually succumbs to his wounds.

- Sadat (1983, TV film) [Anwar Sadat]: Shot to death by an assassin. (I've never seen any of this, but I read it depicts the 1981 assassination).
- Stargate SGI: The Fourth Horseman Part 2 (2006) [Gerak]: Sacrifices himself by using his psychic powers to cure Beau Bridges and the other infected personnel; as a result of betraying the Ori, a failsafe in his body triggers spontaneous combustion, incinerating Louis on the spot.
- Psych: Heeeeere's Lassie (2012) [Lloyd Marr]: Killed (off-screen, exact method unclear) by Sara Rue. His body is seen stuffed in a dryer when James Roday and Dule Hill discover it.
- Boardwalk Empire: Havre de Grace (2013) [Oscar Boneau]: Shot in the chest by Jeffrey Wright's men as Louis is trying to protect Michael K. Williams from being captured.
- The Spoils Before Dying: The Trip Trap (2015) [Duke Webster]: Appears as the ghost of a long-dead legendary jazz musician (loosely based on both Duke Ellington and Ben Webster), appearing to Michael K. Williams during Michael's hallucination.
