- Dillinger (1945) [Walter]: Stabbed in the face wth a broken beer mug by Lawrence Tierney as they sit face to face in a table booth of Lou's bar, after Lawrence confronts Lou for treating him unfairly on one occasion in the past; in an earlier scene when Lou humiliated Lawrence refusing to accept a check for his meal on a date. The scene cuts as Lawrence smashes his mug of beer and thrusts the broken glass in the cameras viewpoint. His slumped body then falls from the booth to the floor as Lawrence leaves.
