- The Time of Their Lives (1946) [Horatio Prim]: Lou Costello portrays Horatio Prim a patriot tinker during the American revolution who along with Marjorie Reynolds are shot by American continental soldiers after being mistaken for british loyalists. Their souls are cursed to remain at a mansion as traitors unless contrary evidence is produced. The majority of the film has him, and her try to get the occupants of the mansion to get the evidence that they are not traitors so they can journey to the afterlife. the evidence is a letter of recommendation for Horatio Prim by George Washington.
