Film Deaths[edit | edit source]

  • The Man They Could Not Hang (1939) [Janet Savaard]: Accidentally electrocuted when she tries to open a door that her father (Boris Karloff) had booby-trapped: Boris then brings her back to life with his experimental apparatus.
  • Up in the Air (1940) [Singer Rita Wilson aka Gladys Wharton]: Shot to death during a radio show rehearsal by Alex Callam. We see her singing as the lights go out; then there is a gun shot followed by Lorna's scream. When the lights are restored she is shown on the stage dead.
