Film Deaths[]
- Love, Rosie (2014) [Dennis Dunne]: Dies (off-screen) of a heart attack while on holiday in the Mediterranean; we learn of his death when his wife (Ger Ryan) calls his daughter (Lily Collins) followed by a cut to his funeral.
Television Deaths[]
- Cracker: Brotherly Love (1995) [DS Jimmy Beck]: Handcuffs himself to Mark Lambert and jumps off a roof.
- Hornblower: Duty (2003) [Thomas Wolfe]: Shot multiple times in the chest by both Paul McGann and Ioan Gruffudd with their flintlock pistols, as well as by the Royal Marines with their muskets, when Lorcan attempts to draw his own flintlock pistol and shoot Ioan.
- Rome: Passover (2007) [Erastes Fulmen]: Decapitated (off-screen) by Kevin McKidd. We only see Kevin bring the sword down and the reaction on his face afterwards. We then see Kevin carrying Lorcan's head while walking in the streets.
- The Last Kingdom: Season 1 Episode 4 (2015) [Father Selbix]: Stabbed in the stomach by Thomas W. Gabrielsson, after Thomas realises he no longer needs Lorcan.
- Death in Paradise: The Blood Red Sea (2016) [Tosh Walker]: Stabbed in the chest by his son (Jack Donnelly).
- Magpie Murders: Episode 1 (2022) [Sir Magnus Pye]: Decapitated with a sword (off-screen) by Harry Lawtey in Lorcan's mansion (in the story-within-a-story portion of the series, from the detective novel that Lesley Manville reads).
- Magpie Murders: Episode 6 (2022) [Sir Magnus Pye/Max Ryeland]: Playing a dual role in both the "fictional" and "real" portions of the series, "Sir Magnus Pye"'s death from Episode 1 is shown in a flashback when Tim McMullan explains the murder (in the detective novel). In the real world, "Max Ryeland" dies (off-screen) in the hospital after suffering a stroke; we learn of his death afterwards when Claire Rushbrook informs Lesley Manville.
