Summary[]

With the support of his parents, Lolong (Ruru Madrid) develops a passion for animals as a young child. They introduced him to a special friend they called Dakila, a massive crocodile. Lolong and Dakila develop a genuine friendship as a result of their peculiar bond.

However, the mayor of this small town, Armando (Christopher de Leon), has made it his personal crusade to exterminate all crocodiles since he feels that they pose a threat to their cattle and have been known to attack and kill people. Regardless of Armando's corruption, he has no justification for murdering some animals. As a result of the extremely dangerous abuse of power. While Armando was ordered by Lolong to save the innocent animals, his parents were killed at the hands of Armando's immoral actions.

As Armando's tyrant strives to a higher government office, along with his ambitious wife (Jean Garcia) and his only arrogant son (Paul Salas), he is used to being greedy, deceitful, cunning and very manipulative towards the small town. Lolong realizes that, though it's not a choice, being special is summoned by the calling, and he must answer the call.
