- The Chase (1946) [Emmerrich Johnson}: Savaged to death out of picture in Steve Cochran's wine cellar by Steve's bull mastiff. His body washes up in the bay and the newspaper reports the police had concluded he had committed suicide, the slashes and bites being attributed to barracudas. (Thanks to Brian)
