The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003) [Arwen]: Shown dead in a vision to Viggo Mortensen when he looks into the palantír of Orthanc, in an attempt by Sauron to play on Viggo's fears after Hugo Weaving tells him she is dying earlier in the movie. She survives the movie in reality. This scene only appears in the Extended Edition.
Avengers: Infinity War (2018) [Betty Ross]: She does not appear in the film but it was confirmed by directors that her character from The Incredible Hulk (2008) was among those who disintegrated when Josh Brolin used the Infinity Gauntlet to wipe out half of all life in the universe.[1] She is later resurrected when Mark Ruffalo uses the Infinity Stones to bring all the people disintigrated out of existence back to life in Avengers: Endgame (2019).
