- A Christmas Carol (1938) [Jacob Marley's Ghost]: Dies (maybe off-screen) of natural causes; he appears as a ghost to Reginald Owen. (I haven't seen any of this but we all know the story).
- Tarantula (1955) [Professor Deemer]: Eaten by the giant tarantula, after it tears the roof off of his home. (at this point he becomes completely mutated from the formula Eddie Parker injects into him).
