  • A Christmas Carol (1938) [Jacob Marley's Ghost]: Dies (off-screen) of natural causes; he appears as a ghost to Reginald Owen.
  • Bulldog Drummond's Secret Police (1939) [Henry Seaton]: Swept away by the waters in an underground passage while fighting with John Howard.
  • The Snows of Kilimanjaro (1952) [Uncle Bill]
  • Tarantula (1955) [Professor Deemer]: Eaten by the giant tarantula, after it tears the roof off of his home, as Mara Corday screams in horror. (at this point Leo has become completely mutated from the formula Eddie Parker injected into him earlier in the film).

TV Deaths[]

  • Return of the Man from U.N.C.L.E.: The Fifteen Years Later Affair (1983 TV) [Alexander Waverly]: Leo doesn't appear in this film (as it was filmed several years after his real-life death), but it's revealed that his character from the TV series The Man from U.N.C.L.E. died at some point in time between the TV series and the film.
