- The X Files: Pilot (1993) [Karen Swenson]: Killed as a result of an alien abduction. we see Laura running through the woods while being pursued by a malevolent entity. When it catches her they both disappear in a flash of light. Her body is shown when investigators are on the scene where she was returned.
