- Tales from the Gimli Hospital (1988) [Einar the Lonely/Minstrel]: Playing a dual role, "Minstrel" dies of smallpox in the Gimli Hospital; his body is shown again later on being buried at his funeral. "Einar" survives the movie. (Note: A Caucasian actor, Kyle was in blackface for the "Minstrel" role.)
- Careful (1992) [Grigorss]: Frozen to death after being trapped in a cave by an avalanche.
