  • Dragon Ball Z: Feeding Frenzy (2002; anime) [Ox-King]: Turned into chocolate and eaten by Super Buu (Justin Cook). Later revived with the Namekian Dragon Balls.
  • Dragon Ball Z: End of Earth (2003; anime) [Gohan]: Killed alongside Piccolo (Christopher Sabat), Goten (Kara Edwards), Trunks (Laura Bailey), Tien (John Burgmeier) and Chiaotzu (Monika Antonelli) when Kid Buu (Josh Martin) blows up the Earth. Later revived with the Namekian Dragon Balls.
  • One Piece: Luffy's Past! Red-Haired Shanks Appears! (2007; anime) [Higuma]: Eaten alive by a Sea King shortly after tossing Luffy (Colleen Clinkenbeard) to the open water.
  • Digimon Data Squad: The Power of the Burst Mode! (2008; anime) [Belphemon]: Destroyed by ShineGreymon Burst Mode (Brian Beacock), just as Marcus (Quinton Flynn) punches Kurata (Brian Palermo).
  • Gurren Lagann: Later, Buddy (2008; anime) [Kamina]: Dies from his wounds in the cockpit of Gurren Lagann after he and Simon (Yuri Lowenthal) kill Thymilph (Paul St. Peter). He was subsequently buried at the same place where he died.
  • Seven Deadly Sins: Unholy Knight (2015; anime) [Dale]: Dies due to Ban (Ben Diskin) gouging out his heart, but not before thanking the Sins.
  • One Punch Man: The Lone Cyborg (2016; anime) [Kamakyuri]: Killed in one punch by Makoto Furukawa. Note: This was an English dub of a scene in which Yoshiaki Hasegawa played Kamakyuri.
  • Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans: My Friend (2017; anime) [Radice Riloto]: Shot dead (off-screen) by Takaki Uno (Zach Aguilar) for betraying Tekkadan.
  • JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Stardust Crusaders: DIO's World Part 2 (2018; anime) [Noriaki Kakyoin]: Impaled on the stomach by DIO (Patrick Seitz), being propelled into a water tank in the process. With the last of his strength, he destroys the nearby clock tower with his Emerald Splash to inform Joseph Joestar (Richard Epcar) of the abilities of DIO's Stand, The World, dying immediately afterwards.

Video Game Deaths

  • Digimon World Data Squad (2007; video game) [Masaki Nitta]: Became digital fragments due to being Creepymon (Kirk Thornton) for too long as his daughter (Kate Higgins) watches in sadness.
  • Wolfenstein (2009) [Hans Grosse ] : Killed when B.J. Blazkowicz (Peter Jessop) jams the Empower Nachtsonne crystal into the medallion, causing the Black Sun machine to explode, taking him with it.
