- The Lightship (1985) [Captain Miller]: Accidentally shot in the stomach by Robert Duvall when Klaus refuses to untether the ship during an attempted hijacking.
- Colonel Redl (Oberst Redl) (1985) [Colonel Alfred Redl]: Commits suicide by shooting himself in the head.
- Hanussen (1988) [Erik Jan Hanussen]: Shot in the back by Nazis in woods.
