- Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956) [Jack Belicec]: Killed (off-screen) and replaced by a "pod-person" duplicate (all in spite of him knowing of the invasion and trying to warn others). his duplicate is also later killed (along with Larry Gates') when Kevin McCarthy injects them with something lethal. (see also Jeff Goldblum in the 1978 remake)

- The Big Valley: Into the Widow's Web (1966) [Ambrose]: Shot in the head (off-camera) by Kathleen Nolan while King is trying to shoot Lee Majors (leading Lee to believe that he killed King in self-defense). His body is shown lying on the floor after the shoot-out.
