  • Carry On Screaming! (1966) [Dr. Orlando Watt]: Playing a reanimated undead mad scientist, he is finally burned to death when he falls into a vat of boiling chemicals while backing away from a mummy. (Played for comic effect.)
  • Don't Lose Your Head (Carry On: Don't Lose Your Head; Carry On Pimpernel) (1966) [Citizen Camembert]: Executed, along with Peter Butterworth, by the guillotine. (Played for comic effect.) (Thanks to Zaquarta)

  • Carry On Henry (Carry On Henry VIII) (1971) [Thomas Cromwell]: Executed (off-camera) by beheading, along with Terry Scott. Sid James offers to spare them if they help him to remarry; rather than go through all that again, they ask the executioner to carry out the sentence, and the movie ends with the axe descending. (Played for comic effect.)
  • The Hound of the Baskervilles (1978) [Sir Henry Baskerville]: Killed (along with Peter Cook and Dudley Moore) in a spontaneous volcanic eruption, when Dudley's absurd prediciton comes true. (Again, played for comic effect.)
