- Death Note: the Last Name (Desu nôto: The last name) (2006) [L]: Dies of a heart attack off-screen after he writes his own name in the Death Note book to prevent Tatsuya Fujiwara from writing it first.
- Genghis Khan: To the Ends of the Earth and Sea (Aoki Ôkami: chi hate umi tsukiru made) (2007) [Jochi]: Dies of a sickness with his step- father ( Takashi Sorimachi) by his his side who finally accepts him as his son.
- Kaiji: The Ultimate Gambler (Kaiji: Jinsei gyakuten gêmu) (2009) [Makoto Sahara]: Falls to his death when he fails to walk accross the scaffold.
- Gantz (2010) [Masaru Kato]: Murdered by the aliens. (NOTE: His character is resurrected in the sequel and doesn't die there).
