  • 3×3 Eyes: Transmigration (Tensei no shō) (1991) [Professor Fujii]: Dies from unspecified causes (off-screen); his death is revealed when Brigitte Bako presents his skull to his son (Christian Campbell). (See also Osamu Saka in the Japanese version and Jeff Winkless in the first English version.)

  • James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing (2004) [Arkady Yayakov]: Dies after Pierce Brosnan destroys his mansion laboratory, causing various equipment to fall down and tumble upon Keith.

  • Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent (2006) [Emile Dufraisne]: Killed by Michael Ironside. He could be killed in various from getting stabbed , being shot, thrown with a grenade. In Version 1 (Xbox 360/PS3) if you try to Intergate him, he will break only to be punched out cold (If you scan him, he's confirmed dead) or if you are successful in grabbing him after intergating him, his neck will be snapped.
  • Mass Effect (2007) [Executor Pallin/Jax/Lilihierax/Krogan Battlemaster/Krogan Commander/Turian Bodyguard]: "Jax" and "the Bodyguard" are shot to death by Mark Meer/Jennifer Hale or their squad, after Mark/Jennifer tries to arrest them; "the Battlemaster" is killed by Mark/Jennifer after trying to take Ali Hillis; "the Commander" is killed in battle with Mark/Jennifer; "Pallin" and "Lilihierax" survive the game.
  • Dead Space (2008) [Dr. Terrence Kyne]: Shot in the back by Tonantzin Carmelo.
  • BioShock 2: Minerva's Den (2010) [Reed Wahl]: Killed by Subject Sigma in the final battle.
  • Asura's Wrath (2012) [Kalrow]: Crushed to death inside of his escape pod by Liam O'Brien.
  • Mass Effect 3 (2012) [Harbinger/Executor Pallin]: Although he doesn't appear in the game, "Pallin" is revealed to have been killed by Michael Hogan, due to being suspected of corruption; if the player chooses the "Destroy" ending, "Harbinger" is destroyed along with the rest of the Reapers.
  • Darksiders II (2012) [The Crowfather/Jamaerah the Scribe/Wicked K]: "The Crowfather" is impaled by Michael Wincott after a battle, appearing throughout the rest of the game as a ghost; "Jamaerah" and "Wicked K" survive the game.
  • BioShock Infinite (2013) [Cornelius Slate]: Willingly shot in the head by Troy Baker, provided that the player grants his final request for "a soldier's death." Should he be spared, he can later be found imprisoned and lobotomized in the basement of Bill Lobley's club, and the player can opt to mercy kill him.
  • Fallout 4: Nuka World DLC (2016) [John Caleb Bradberton]: As a human head preserved in a jar for over 200 years via a life extension system, by Keith's request the player character has the option to shut down the power to former's life support. Alternatively, he can be left alive.
  • The Sinking City (2019) [Charles Winfield Reed]: Depending on the player’s decisions, Keith will either live or die as a result of two of the four endings: (1). If Keith decides to commit suicide to delay Cthylla’s awakening and restart the cycle, he will let himself fall into a cavern to keep Cthylla asleep for a few more centuries. (2). If Keith decides to unleash Cthylla and fulfill his destiny, he is absorbed by the creature. Keith survives the other endings.
  • Fallout 76: Steel Reign DLC (2021) [Edgar Blackburn]: Transforms into a large mutant as a result of voluntary exposure to the Forced Evolutionary Virus. The player character is then required to kill the mutated Blackburn in order to proceed the game's storyline.
