- Gurren Lagann (2007; anime) [Kamina]: Impaled through the chest and blasted with a laser by Kiyoyuki Yanada. He then uses the last of his strength to finish the latter off alongside Tetsuya Kakihara.
- Akame ga Kill (2014) [Bulat]: Poisoned during his fight with Jouji Nakata, which also lead to the latter's demise.
- JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Golden Wind: Gold Experience Requiem (2019; anime) [Diavolo]: After being punched multiple times by KenshÅ Ono's stand, he was stabbed in the chest by a homeless drugged man.
- JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Golden Wind: Gold Experience Requiem (2019; anime) [Diavolo]: After his first death, he was autopsied alive by a doctor. As he couldn't even move an inch, he can barely do anything but watch as his organs are slowly being pulled out of his body.
