- May White (1977 TV) [Mary White]: Hits her head on a tree branch while riding through the park, causing her to fall from her horse.
- Rappuccini’s Daughter (1980 TV) [Beatrice Rappuccini]: Poisoned when Kristoffer Tabori well-meaningly gives her the antidote to her own toxic body chemistry. (I haven’t seen this version, but I’m familiar with the story).
