- Jubilee (1978) [Sphinx]: Shot in the chest (along with Ian Charleson) by Donald Dunham, after Karl insults Donald and Barney James in the bingo parlor.
- Mr. Turner (2014) [Mr. Booth]: Dies of old age (off-screen) between Timothy Spall's seaside visits; we learn of Karl's death when Timothy tells his widow (Marion Bailey) he's sorry for her loss.

TV Deaths[]
- Rome: Utica (2005) [Porcius Cato]: Commits suicide by stabbing himself in the stomach with a sword.
- Born to Kill: Episode 1 (2017) [Mr. Williams]: Dies after been given a lethal dose by Jack Rowan, which slowly kills him. He dies while Rowan covers his mouth so he can't call for help.
- King Lear (2018) [Fool]: Collapses from exhaustion and dies of a heart attack/cardiac arrest, while in an ambulance with Anthony Hopkins.
