- The Green Hornet (1940) [Gorman - Workman]: Murdered in an explosion by racketeers involved in insurance fraud by placing a dynamite bomb in the backroad he was driving on because he threatened to expose the fact they were using faulty mining equipment to deliberately get workers killed.
- The Green Hornet Strikes Again! (1940) [Hansen, the Stranger]: Unintentionally mortally wounded when a thug struggling with Wade Boteler fires his pistol and hits Karl in his stomach. We learn of his (off-screen death) in the hospital in a conversation between Warren Hull and Jay Michael.
