- Fida (Crazy) (2004) [Neha Verma]: Shot in the head by the mortally-wounded Shahid Kapoor she dies all of sudden , as Fardeen Khan looks on helplessly.
- Don (2006) [Kamini]: Killed by Shah Rukh Khan during his escape from the police, though I don't know the details. (See also Helen in the original 1978 version. In the original film, Helen was thrown from a speeding car by Amitabh Bachchan; I don't know whether this version follows the original or has her killed in a different way.)
- Agent Vinod (2012) [Dr. Ruby Mendes a.k.a. Iram Parveen Bilal a.k.a. Josie]: Shot three times by enemy agents in her stomach ; her body is shown afterwards (covered with a sheet) when Saif Ali Khan enters the room. (Thanks to Martyn)
- Udta Punjab (2016) [Preet Sahani]: Stabbed In the neck by her lover's brother When she caught him while running of the Rehab clinic she screams Ahh slowly fells down and dies on the spot while her eyes wide open.
- Omkara (2006) [Dolly Mishra]: Smothered to death from a pillow by her Husband Ajay Devgan towards the climax of the movie as he suspected her of having affair with his friend her body was shown when her friend Konkona Sen Sharma removed her pillow from which she was smothered and murdered .
- Laal Singh Chaddha (2022) [Rupa D'Souza]: She dies offscreen succumbing to the disease that she had been battling for years after she spoke to Aamir Khan and hugged him for one last time whilst bedridden
