  • Hard Boiled (Lat sau san taam) (1992) [Teahouse Gun-Man]: Shot in the head, point blank by Chow Yun-Fat.
  • Gojo (Gojo reisenki: Gojoe) (2000) [Suzaku-hougan]: Stabs himself in the chest with a blade. 
  • Alive (2002) [Kojima]: Shoots himself in the head.
  • Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003) [Boss Tanaka]: Decapitated with a katana by Lucy Liu during a meeting of Yakuza bosses after Jun insults Lucy's ethnicity, while the other bosses look on in shock.
  • Samurai Resurrection (Makai tenshô) (2003) [Samurai]: Slices his own throat with his own sword after being magically possessed.
  • Blood and Bones (Chi to hone) (2004) [Yong-sang Jo]: Commits suicide by attaching bricks around his waist and jumps into the river and drowns.
  • Outrage (Autoreiji) (2010) [Ikemoto]: Has his neck crushed when Takeshi Kitano punches him in the throat causing him to also bite down on his tongue.
  • Why Don't You Play In Hell? (Jigoku de naze warui) (2013) [Muto]: Decapitated with a sword by a rival gangster.
  • Attack on Titan: Part 2 (Shingeki no kyojin endo oba za warudo) (2015) [Kubal] Dies when he has a bomb put into his mouth by Hiroki Hasegawa causing his head to explode while in his titan form. 
  • Parasyte: Part 2 (Kiseijuu: Kanketsuhen) (2015) [Detective Hirama]: After shooting Tadanobu Asano, who absorbs Jun's bullets, he shoots them out of his body and into Jun, killing him via multiple bullet penetration. 
  • The Wailing (Goksung) (2016) [The Stranger]: Run over by Do Won Kwak . He later returns to life due to being a demon. 
  • Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable Part 1 (Jojo no kimyo boken: Daiyamondo wa kudakenai - dai-issho) (2017) [Ryohei Higashikata] Murdered by Takayuki Yamada off-screen. His body is shown laying on the floor later. 
  • Fullmetal Alchemist (Hagane no Renkinjutsushi) (2017) [Tim Marcoh]: Impaled by Yasuko Matsuyuki's sharp expendable fingertips.
