Film Deaths
- Dark Skies (2013) [Daniel Barrett]: Commits suicide (off-camera) by placing a shotgun under his chin after he had killed his wife (Keri Russell ) while fighting Gray aliens that were invading their home. The camera cuts from Josh to his son (Dakota Goyo ) as he pulls the trigger. This turns out to be a hallucination the Gray aliens were making Dakota see just before they abduct him. Josh's character survives the film in reality.
TV Deaths
- American Horror Story: Head (2013) [Hank Foxx]: Killed by Gabourey Sidibe's power of injury transference when she shoots herself in the mouth with a pistol, transferring the exit wound to Josh.
