- Attack of the Giant Leeches (1959) [Old Sam Peters]: Gradually drained of blood by the leech-creatures in their cave; he finally dies after Tyler McVey sets off a dynamite blast that knocks the leeches' victims out of the cave and causes them to float to the surface. (It's later stated that all the victims died of blood loss, rather than the explosion or drowning.)
