• The End of Evangelion (1997; anime) [Toji Suzuhara]: Killed (off-screen) during the Third Impact. (For the PCB Productions version of Toji's death, see Brett Weaver). (Note: He voiced the character in 2019 while the film was released in 1997).

TV Deaths

• Wolf's Rain: Wolf's Rain (2004; anime) [Kiba]: Drowns after falling into a lake on top of being heavily wounded after his fight with Darcia (Steven Jay Blum).
• Naruto: Akamaru Trembles: Gaara's Cruel Strength! (2006; anime) [Shigure]: Crushed to death by Gaara's (Liam O'Brien) Sand Burial technique.
• Naruto: The Vessel Arrives Too Late (2007; anime) [Gen'yūmaru]: Dies after having his body taken over by Orochimaru (Steven Jay Blum).
• Code Geass: Re (2009; anime) [Lelouch vi Britannia]: Stabbed in the chest by Suzaku (Yuri Lowenthal) in a parade as part of their plan for world peace. He dies shortly after talking to Nunnally (Rebecca Forstadt).
• Naruto Shippuden: Impossible Dream (2010; anime) [Sasori]: Stabbed to death with the puppets of his parents by Chiyo (Barbara Goodson), he dies shortly after talking to Sakura (Kate Higgins).
• Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro Chan (2010; anime) [Sakura Kusakabe]: Killed multiple times over the course of the series by Dokuro (Wendee Lee) smashing him with her club, resurrecting him moments later each time.
• Fate/Zero: The Bloody Battle of Mion River (2013; anime) [Ryuunsouke Uryuu]: Shot in the stomach and head by Kiritsugu Emiya (Matthew Mercer).
• JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Phantom Blood: The Final Hamon! (2016; anime) [Jonathan Joestar]: Dies from his wounds inside the burning ship whilst clutching the living head of Dio Brando (Patrick Seitz).
• Devilman Crybaby: Go to Hell, You Mortals (2018; anime) [Wamu]: Stabbed to death (off-screen) by the angry mob, who then cut his body to pieces and parade it.
• Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Oprhans: Promise (2018; anime)[Orga Itsuka]:Mortally wounded by gunfire after shielding Ride Mass (Amanda Céline Miller) from Nobliss Gordon's (John Snyder)men, he dies after ushering the remaining Tekkadan members away.
• Violet Evergarden: A Loved One Will Always Watch Over You (2018; anime) [Aidan Field]: Dies from his wounds in the arms of Violet (Erika Harlacher) after she finishes writing his final letters. She buries him, using his rifle as a grave marker.

Video Game Deaths

• Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War (2006) [Patrick James Beckett/ P.J.]: Shot down by Yuri Lowenthal, when Yuri's ship fires its laser toward Galm One, forcing P.J. to take the shot to protect his squadron leader.
• Eternal Sonata (2007) [Fugue]: Devoured by the Agogo Queen Mother after being defeated by the party for the third time.
• Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series: Episode 1: Tangled Up in Blue (2017) [Bal'Dinn]: Dies before the events of the game. If the player chooses not to destroy the Eternity Forge, he will be resurrected by Faye Kingsley on Episode 4: Who Needs You.
• The Walking Dead: The Final Season - Broken Toys (2019) [James]: If the player chooses for Taylor Parks to lower their gun, Johnny is stabbed in the back by Nikki Rapp.  Otherwise, Johnny will survive the episode if the player chooses for Taylor to shoot Nikki. Johnny will appear in the next episode Take Us Back as a zombie if Nikki was spared.

Web Series Deaths

• Death Battle: Naruto VS Ichigo (2017; animated) [Ichigo Kurosaki]: Completely Disintegrated by Naruto Uzamaki's (voiced by Dawn Michelle Bennett) combination attack of the Six Paths: Ultra-Big Ball Rasenshuriken and the Tailed Beast Bomb after losing his powers at the hands of using Mugetsu. (Note: He is credited as Adam Park to avoid the legal issues surrounding getting him to voice a character that he would legally and contractually not be able to voice)
