- The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014) [Bolg]: Stabbed in the head at the end of duel with Orlando Bloom; his body then falls into a ravine before being crushed by a block of falling masonry from the collapsing tower on which they fought. (John performed the role in motion capture; his likeness is entirely CGI.)
