- Lost: Walkabout (2004) [Dr. Christian Shephard]: Dies (off-screen) of a heart attack, some time before the episode begins; he appears in flashbacks. (This episode marked his first flashback appearance; he continued to appear in flashbacks in several subsequent episodes. He also appeared in several episodes seemingly alive, but it was eventually revealed that this was the "Man in Black” assuming his form).
- CSI: NY: Blacklist (2009) [McKenna Taylor]: Dies from lung cancer in 1989, we only see him talking to his son (Gary Sinise).
