- UFO: E.S.P. (1970) [John Croxley]: Shot twice in the back by Michael Billington as he's about to shoot Ed Bishop.
- The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes: The Affair of the Avalanche Bicycle & Tyre Co. Ltd. (1971) [Paul Mallows]: Killed in an explosion when Peter Vaughan throws a lantern at him, after John had turned on the gas jets in an attempt to kill Peter.
- Doctor Who: The Two Doctors (1985) [Shockeye]: Poisoned when Colin Baker holds a cyanide-soaked cloth over John's face during a struggle. (John was wearing heavy alien make-up for this role.)
