Cracker: Best Boys (1995) [Bill Nash]: Shot by a police sniper during a standoff.
Life on Mars: Episode 8 (2007) [DS Sam Tyler]: After awaking form a coma during which he was living in 1973, he went up to the roof of the Stopford House police station and jumped off the roof, sure that ending his 2007 existence would take him back to 1973.
Doctor Who: Last of the Time Lords (2007) [The Master/Harold Saxon]: Shot by his wife (Alexandra Moen). He dies in David Tennant's arms, after he refuses to regenerate and become David's prisoner. He is brought back to life in the 2009 episode The End of Time, Part 1.
The Devils Whore (2008 miniseries) [Edward Sexby]: Commits suicide by shooting himself in the mouth with a flintlock pistol, rather than be captured.
Doctor Who: The Doctor Falls (2017) [The Master]: Stabbed in the back by his future self (Michelle Gomez); he is last seen mortally injured and leaving for his TARDIS via elevator, where he presumably regenerates into Michelle.
