- Captain America: Civil War (2016) [King T'Chaka]: Blown up in an explosion, along with several others, when Daniel Brühl detonates a bomb while he is giving a speech; he is seen shortly after, lying next to his son (Chadwick Boseman). (John reprises his role in the 2018 follow-up Black Panther in visions to Chadwick; it also includes a flashback to his death scene in this film.)
TV Deaths[]
- Wallander: The White Lioness (2015) [Max Khulu]: Shoots himself in the head, offscreen in his home office, just as the police arrive to arrest him on various criminal charges. (Thanks to Brian)
