- Hamlet (1964) [Laertes]: Slashed with his own poison-tipped sword by Richard Burton (I haven't seen his production, but I'm familar with the play and have seen the clip).
TV Deaths[]
- The Day After (1983; TV movie) [Jim Dahlberg]: Shot by trespassers that were eating his dead cattle after the nuclear holocaust.
- Northern Exposure: Cicely (1992) [Holling Vincoeur/Abe]: Playing a dual role, 'Abe' presumably dies at some point in time between the 1909 flashbacks and the present; 'Holling' survives, obviously.
- ER: Loose Ends (2000) [David Greene]: Dies of lung cancer. He's seen when his son (Anthony Edwards) wakes up and sees he's passed away.
